The copyright of all photographs created shall remain at all times the property of Richard Tidy Photography in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Richard Tidy Photography reserves the right to display, exhibit or enter for any competition any photograph taken of the client(s) under the rights of section 77 and 80 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act1988. The clients shall have no right to reproduce or to authorise the reproduction of, by any means whatsoever, any photographs created by Richard Tidy Photography without the express written permission of the copyright holder.
Richard Tidy Photography shall be permitted to use any photograph as promotional material. This will include publication on the internet.

Photography studios, in principle, charge more for their products and services not because they are more qualified or competent than non-studio photographers, but because they have higher overheads i.e. rent, utility bills, council tax etc. etc. Richard Tidy Photography is a mobile photography business and therefore strives to keep overheads and its costs as low as possible so as to offer as competitive and affordable prices as possible to our clients. However, at times, there may be additional costs incurred for a specific shoot, such as travel expenses, accommodation or hire equipment, to the business which Richard Tidy Photography will have to pass onto the client. These will be passed on as an 'expense cost' and there are no profits generated from these. we will ensure that this is mentioned to the client before any work is agreed or indeed commences.
For shoots that we travel more than 30 miles (round trip) we charge a 25p/mile fee.
A sitting fee applies which covers the photographer's skill, labour time and associated costs.

Richard Tidy Photography will seek to provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching. Basic digital retouching, enhancement, and finishing is applied and included in our costs. If more detailed digital retouching, enhancement or finishing is required then this is available at an additional cost. Costs are based on £50/hr labour costs.

Richard Tidy Photography will store your details on an internal database; these details will NOT be given to any individuals outside Richard Tidy Photography. Should you wish to have your details removed from the database, please advise Richard Tidy Photography in writing. Occasionally information may be sent you about products and services of a very tidy business that may be of interest to you.

Richard Tidy Photography is an operating brand within a very tidy business. A very tidy business is fully insured for public liability, professional indemnity and equipment.
In the interests of common sense we ask that for all shoots where a child is under 16 years of age an adult be present at all times.

All complaints should be made in writing to a very tidy business within 21 working days of the complaint
